When you join the Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad, you have made a decision to spend your time and effort helping your neighbors when they need it most.  You will join the family of first responders (EMS, Fire, Police) who step in on what could the the worst day of someone's life, and get them the help they need.  You will work in a fast-paced environment where every decision you make becomes important.  You will learn new skills and make some of the best friends of your life. 

Volunteers receive free training, and uniforms. They get a personal property tax exemption, credit union membership, free access to high speed Internet, fitness facilities, and more.
