Spotsylvania Volunteer Rescue Squad (SVRS) mourns the loss of Life Member Kim Moore.  She joined our agency as an EMT/Driver, got her Cardiac Technician and obtained her Intermediate Certification in 2004.  She also worked on the Search and Rescue Team.  She was a force like no other.   Kim was also a member of Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department and spent Christmases on top of the firetruck as Mrs. Clause.  I had an opportunity to visit with Kim just prior to her death,  she wanted to make sure I got the word out to GET the Cancer screenings! Do it for you, and if that is not enough reason, do it for your family.  F. Cancer.  Our agency asks that you keep the entire Moore family in your thoughts and prayers.  

Our local Fire and EMS family has been hit hard with loss in recent days. While mourning the loss of Kim Moore,SVRS extends its thoughts and prayers to our sister agencies Spotsylvania Volunteer Fire Department in the loss of Captain Travis Prien and Fredericksburg Fire Department in the loss of Master Tech Donnie Wedding.
